CONDITION: This is a second hand product and has been priced accordingly. Second hand product will have cut outs, rebates and/or holes from where hardware has been previously fitted. The exterior side may have signs of weathering. The door may have marks from handling and general wear and tear from use. As such, we recommend inspection prior to purchase.Â
CONDITION SPECIFICS: The condition of this door is a 5/10. It has various issues, as the previous owner made a number of mistakes when installing this door. Firstly, the door has been painted in a dark colour, which has resulted in the door bowing. It should be repainted in a light colour. The door has been hung the wrong way around (the interior side of the door facing the exterior side) and it has been used in a situation where it was directly exposed to weather. Due to this, the door has water damage and swelling in a number of spots. All exterior doors should have a minimum of half the doors height in cover (not directly exposed to the weather like this). With the condition of this door, it will now only be suitable for use in a completely protected (undercover) situation only. As it is second hand, there is a cut out for a handle and rebates down along one edge for hinges. There are also some holes where a weather strip was installed.
