Collection: External Timber Doors

Whether you call it a front door, entry door or external door, this is the range for the face of your home. Solid core timber doors built for Queensland conditions, in standard sizes from 2040mm high × 820mm wide up to large pivot-style entry doors 2340mm high × 1200mm wide. Styles run from plain solid core doors to glazed designs with clear, frosted and obscure glass panels — ideal as main entrance doors, laundry doors or back doors.

A note on placement: in general, timber doors used externally must have a minimum of half their height of overhanging protection (eave, awning or other) and be adequately sealed, painted or protected against weather and UV radiation from the sun. It's worth checking your entry meets this before choosing timber — and if you're unsure, ask us when you call.

Nearly all our external doors are factory seconds from brands like Hume Doors and Timber and Corinthian Doors — top-quality doors with cosmetic blemishes/imperfections, discounted well below retail. Our new door range is displayed at the top of the collection. If you'd rather skip the hanging work, many doors are also available pre-hung in a frame, ready to install.
